the breakfast choice was excellent and the food tasted great.

The set menu for the evening was very disappointing, costing £37 per person for two courses. The fish main was lukewarm and did not taste good. it looked like it had been under a hot plate for a while, also the fish looked like it had come out of a packet. i also found some of the staff seemed quite sullen.

i have visited previously and each time it feels so special. the customer service shines, the staff are friendly, and the room offers a beautiful view. we used the spa facilities every day! the steam room and sauna were so relaxing, and we both loved spending time by the indoor pool.

the gym, while functional, could use some updating with newer equipment.

i played golf and the course is open and quite long. the hazards are fiendish and superbly placed. drinks service was immediate, and i really enjoyed the lamb dish, even though i usually dislike lamb. the location is FAB!

the gym is small. it has only two running machines. it is also often full of non-hotel guests, meaning less space is available for hotel guests.

i found the room spacious it included a comfortable bed. the bathroom had a modern design with good lighting. i appreciated the selection of teas in the room it was a nice touch.

the breakfast buffet presented a limited selection of pastries the fruit salad was not very appealing. specialty coffees incurred an additional charge it was unexpected.
